Macnabs has announced the appointment of solicitor Megan Joiner, who joins the specialist Family Team.

Megan, who joins from Perth firm Jameson & Mackay, has experience advising clients on family law issues, particularly separation and divorce, cohabitee claims, and residence / contact disputes.

Managing Partner Ruth Croman comments: “We are delighted to welcome Megan to the Macnabs team. These are certainly challenging times for us all, and Megan ‘joins’ the rest of the firm working remotely from home just now. Our family team remains busy – our office doors may be temporarily closed, but we are very much here for our clients, speaking to them, advising them and handling each case on an individual basis with tact and sensitivity at what is now an even more stressful time for many people.”

Megan adds: “It’s great to be joining such an innovative and close-knit firm, and their strength shines through at unprecedented times like this. I have had a seamless introduction to the firm and within my first week I have seen how focused on the needs of their clients they are, whilst also ensuring that staff morale remains high. It has been a great start, but I am however very much looking forward to meeting everyone in person when normality resumes!”
