Macnabs sponsor Blackford Highland Games
Macnabs are delighted to sponsor the 149th Blackford Highland Games this year. The Games, which will take place on Saturday 26th May, are one of Scotland's original traditional Games and attract competitors from around Europe participating in the heavy events including the caber toss, shot put, hammer throw and tug o' war, as well as athletic competitions.
Ruth Croman, Managing Partner, comments: "The Blackford Highland Games are always a fantastic event for all the family, and Macnabs are delighted to be involved this year with the sponsorship of the Hammer competitions. The Games are famed throughout Perthshire and as well as featuring the heavy weights, the pipe band parade and local schools Highland dancing and athletics competitions are a must see. We have recently opened an office in Aberuthven and it is great to be able to support our local community and be involved in such a well known and exciting event."
