Jamie can be found on a daily basis at Perth Sheriff Court, dealing with Family Law issues, Personal Injury claims or Criminal Law cases.

You should recognise his face - Jamie has lived in Blairgowrie for 50 years and attended the local High School as did his wife Sheila and their two children!

We asked some of the Blairgowrie team a few questions so you can get to know them a bit better and see what is really behind that legal persona, and this is what Jamie had to say:

1. Tell me something about yourself we don't know ... I enjoy my sport - I have captained the local rugby and cricket teams and represented the High School at golf, football, badminton, table tennis and cross country running. At school I also competed in the Under 16 National table tennis championships. I still clearly remember being drawn in a group with two boys both of whom I was sure were playing with 2 bats and had brought a special ball that had extra spin on it. Needless to say I had an early exit!
2. Who would play you in a movie about your life?... I wouldn'r really mind, as long as they showed grit and perseverance.
3. What two items would you take with you if you were shipwrecked on a desert island... A smart phone with lots of data and GPS and someone to keep me company!
4. What is your guilty pleasure?... A cheeky bottle of Peroni after any rugby match (particularly Glasgow Warriors or Scottish Rugby team).
