At Macnabs, our corporate social responsibility programme is an important part of who we are. We have a strong track record of supporting our local communities and helping causes that are close to people’s hearts.

Our solicitors volunteer for various organisations in their spare time, including the Lawscot Foundation.

The charity was established by the Law Society of Scotland in 2016 to help academically talented students from less advantaged backgrounds in Scotland through their legal education. The Lawscot Foundation offers financial assistance and mentoring to students through their University education.

The mentoring aspect of the Lawscot Foundation’s work, provided by experienced solicitors, is really important as it helps enhance the student’s confidence, skills and knowledge. We are delighted that our solicitors, Clair Cranston and Blair MacDonald, will be providing mentoring to students from the local area in the future and we hope to continue supporting the work of the Lawscot Foundation moving forward.
