Following another successful year, Macnabs today announces the appointment of Partner Rachael MacDonald, as well as the promotion of Sarah Mitchell who will also take up position as Partner within the firm.

The firm has also invested heavily in its office infrastructure and has opened a new office in Bridge of Allan this month, bringing the total number of Macnabs offices throughout Perthshire to four.

Rachael, who joined the firm from Harper Macleod, is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in family law and is well known for her expertise in high-net-worth financial provision on divorce cases, as well as having vast experience in the negotiation of pre-nuptial agreements, cohabitation issues and child related matters, including relocation. 

Sarah Mitchell started her journey at Macnabs as a trainee almost 10 years ago, before progressing through the ranks to Solicitor then Associate and has now assumed her role as a Partner in the Private Client Team. Sarah, who is a member of STEP, is focused on helping clients with estate and succession planning and executry administration, as well as Wills and Powers of Attorney, and is instrumental in the firm’s involvement with Will Aid. Macnabs prepared over 60 Wills for free throughout November as part of the Will Aid campaign where lawyers write wills for local people and donate their time for free in exchange for a donation to charity. The firm has participated in Will Aid for over 10 years, raising over £62,000 to date for the charity.

Macnabs, which has four offices, has been advising the people of Perthshire and beyond since 1880, and has a strong reputation for offering clients practical solutions to all their legal problems.
