We are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join our ambitious and growing property team. The position will initially be offered on a 6-month fixed term contract basis with the possibility of a further extension. We can offer you a varied caseload, with the opportunity for client contact. You will work on a range of residential conveyancing matters and will be adept in all types of domestic conveyancing matters. You will be encouraged to develop your own skills alongside our experienced partners and legal team. We work collaboratively in relation to our caseload and across our different office locations as required.

Macnabs, today announces the promotion of Alan Roughead and Stewart Baillie who will both become Partners in the firm. Alan, who joined Macnabs from MacRoberts in 2017, heads up the Private Client team, advising clients on a variety of issues including the preparation of Wills, Estate planning, asset protection and Executry administration. Alan is also a notary public, a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is treasurer of the Faculty of Procurators and Solicitors in the City and County of Perth. Stewart is the Director of Property at Macnabs and has a wealth of legal experience, in particular advising on residential sales and purchases, as well as dealing with commercial transactions, acting for landlords and tenants, and also those in the agricultural sector.

Following a two year traineeship with the firm, Blair MacDonald is now a qualified solicitor and becomes part of the Family Law team where he will be offering clients assistance with the full spectrum of family law, from divorce and separation to cohabitation agreements to adoption. Janice Smith has also joined Macnabs as a paralegal in the Property team, and Caroline Mitchell as a trainee paralegal in the private client department which advises on Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Executries.
